Aaron J. – dressed in a Sauron costume and standing in line at the concession for pizza – was one of the more vocally offended.

“Adolf Hitler is a character that has slaughtered untold millions of human beings in his bloodthirsty quest for world domination and power.  How anyone could in good conscience choose to dress up as the man is beyond me.”

“It’s just offensive,” said his roomate – dressed to the hilt in a stunningly accurate Darth Vader costume.

In his defense, Hitler was there to show support for the sci fi nazi themed film Iron Sky.

This reminds me of a Robot Chicken episode, where Bill and Ted are in their high school presenting Genghis Khan on stage, and people start yelling, “But, he murdered millions! He has thousands of descendants because that was how many women he raped in his raids!” People start booing them, and Bill and Ted go off stage to tell Hitler that they won’t have him talk.
